We take the protection of your personal data very seriously, handling person-related data confidentially and only in accordance with the provisions of German data privacy laws.

It is in general possible to use our web pages without giving person-related data. Should person-related data (such as name, residence or e-mail address) be recorded, this takes place as far as possible on a voluntary basis. This data is not passed to third parties without your express permission.

Data protection note – Piwik Analytics

Our website uses Piwik, a web analysis service. Piwik makes use of so-called “cookies”, these being text files that are stored on your computer and make it possible for us to analyze how the website is used. For this purpose, the usage information generated by the cookie (including the short form of your IP address) is transferred to our server and stored for the purpose of carrying website usage analysis. This in turn permits us to optimize the website. During this process, your IP address is immediately anonymized, meaning that you as a user also remain anonymous to us. The information concerning your use of this website generated by the cookie is not passed on to third parties. You are able to prevent the use of cookies by altering the corresponding setting in your browser software. In this case, however, it is possible that some website functionality may not be fully available.

It is at any time possible, per mouse click, to veto the storing and analysis of the data collected during your visit to the website. In this case a so-called opt-out cookie will be set in your browser that prevents Piwik collecting any session data. Please be aware, however, that if you delete your cookies, the opt-out cookie will also be deleted and must, if necessary, be reactivated by you.

You have at all times the right to receive, without charge, information on your stored person-related data, its origin and recipient, the purpose of any data processing and in addition the right to amend, block or delete this data. Objection to advertising e-mails

Use of the contact data published in the Imprint for the sending of advertising and informational materials that have not been specifically requested is herewith forbidden. We expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the case of sending of unsolicited advertising information, for example that sent by means of spam e-mails.
